Powers of the Governor
Article 7. (1) The regional governor:
1. implement the state policy in the field, coordinates the work of the executive authorities and their administrations in the region and their interaction with local government;
2. ensure consistency between national and local interests, organizes the development and implementation of regional plans, strategies and programs for regional development, in interaction with the local authorities and local administration;
3. responsible for the preservation and protection of state property in the region;
4. review the legality of acts and actions of local government and local administration;
5. ensure compliance with the law in the region and exercise administrative control over the performance of administrative acts;
6. coordinate and monitor the implementation of acts and actions of the leaders of territorial units of central administration of executive power in the region;
7. stop the execution of the unlawful acts of municipal councils and refer them to the appropriate district court within one month of their receipt, he may revoke unlawful acts of mayors of municipalities within one month of becoming aware of or referral for which there is provided a special order;
8. an information strategy and policy, subject to the provisions of the Constitution and laws guarantee the openness and accessibility of business-led administration thereof;
